Hi, I'm Anna.
I've always believed there's nothing more rewarding than helping someone feel beautiful, calm and confident, especially on a day as meaningful as their wedding.
I moved from Ukraine to Cornwall in 2006 and started a completely new life, training as a hairdresser soon after. I then spent over ten years at a busy salon in Newquay, working across every part of hairdressing (cutting, colouring and styling) as well as being part of the wedding team.
That all-round experience is one of my biggest strengths. I really know hair: how different textures behave, what will hold and what won't, and how to create a style that still looks beautiful at the end of the night.
In 2021 I opened my own studio in Newquay, and weddings are now the biggest part of what I do. I've been lucky enough to work at some beautiful venues and to win a few awards along the way.
HOW I WORK
I'm a perfectionist at heart. I always choose quality over quantity, so every bride gets my full attention and I never rush. I'll keep refining every detail until it's just right.
Seeing the moment a hairstyle brings the dress, the flowers and the whole look together is still my favourite part of the job.
On the morning, I'll fit around you, your timings and your plans, and keep everything calm, so you can relax and soak up every moment with the people you love.

THREE THINGS ABOUT ME
I'm a self-confessed coffee addict, especially in the height of wedding season.
After a wedding, I love jumping into the sea for a quick dip. Living in Cornwall, I like to make the most of it.
A post-wedding lunch date with my industry besties is a must.
KIND WORDS
I was honestly quite nervous about the morning of the wedding. It ended up being one of my favourite parts of the entire day. You made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and it genuinely felt like having a friend there doing my hair.
I felt absolutely unreal all day. Every time I looked in the mirror, I expected my hair to look bedraggled after such a busy day, but I was amazed by how perfect it still looked that evening.
