BRIDAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

A clear and simple guide to your booking, payments, and important information

Booking & Minimum Requirements

Following your enquiry, you will receive a personalised proposal. A full Bridal Agreement will be sent for you to review once you accept your proposal.

Prices are subject to change at any time and are only secured once your quote has been formally accepted and your date-holding fee has been received.

For all wedding bookings, the following minimums apply:

  • Weekdays (Mon–Thurs): Bride + 2 additional adults

  • Weekends (Fri–Sun) & Bank Holidays: Bride + 4 additional adults

Thank you for understanding that these minimums support the time and preparation required for each booking.

 

Securing Your Date

A £100 date-holding fee is required to secure your wedding day. This will be deducted from your final balance.

Until this fee has been received, your date will remain available to other brides.

Your booking is fully secured only once both the signed Bridal Agreement and date-holding fee have been returned.

Payments

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the wedding.

  • Once the agreement is signed and the date-holding fee is paid, the number of services booked cannot be reduced.

  • Additional people may be added with prior notice and subject to time and availability.

All payments will be acknowledged with a confirmation receipt.

 

Travel & Early Morning Fees

  • Travel Included - Return travel within Cornwall is included as part of your experience. Outside of Cornwall travel is charged at £1 per mile (round trip).

  • A small surcharge applies to Sunday and bank holiday weddings.

  • For start times before 6:00 a.m., an early-morning fee will be added.

Travel, timing and any additional fees will be clearly outlined in your personalised proposal.

 

Health & Safety

For the safety of all clients, I may be unable to provide hairstyling for anyone showing:

  • contagious illnesses (viral or flu-like symptoms)

  • scalp infections

  • conditions that risk cross-contamination

Payments for affected parties remain non-refundable.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify me as soon as possible in writing.

Refund eligibility:

  • Cancellations made within 60 days of booking:

    • 50% of your date-holding fee will be refunded

    • the remaining 50% covers administrative time

  • If a trial has already taken place, its cost is non-refundable

  • Cancellations with less than 4 weeks’ notice will be charged in full unless I am able to refill the date

If the wedding is unable to go ahead after full payment has been made, refunds cannot be issued unless the date is successfully rebooked.

Date Changes

I am happy to transfer your booking to a new date at no extra charge if changes occur due to:

  • government restrictions preventing weddings

  • venue closure, liquidation, or safety issues

All other date-change requests will be considered individually and are subject to availability.
A 15% rescheduling fee will apply.

If I Need to Cancel

In the rare event that I am unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control:

  • I will make every effort to arrange a trusted, highly recommended hairstylist to take my place

  • All details, notes, and product information will be passed on for continuity

  • If a suitable replacement cannot be found, you will receive a full refund, including your date-holding fee
