The UK is still experiencing COVID-19 pandemic. It is critical that all my clients and myself take steps to keep everyone safe.
Guidelines and changes to my cutting and colouring services:
I will be closely following all latest government guidelines to make sure I can work as safely as possible during the pandemic and not contribute to the spread of the virus.
The current government advice to the mobile professionals is to keep the appointments as short as possible.
Therefore I will be limiting the time I spend with you during each visit. This means I will only be able to offer a hair cut appointments and/or a maintenance colour service for the time being. I will not be doing colour corrections or any time consuming colours untill the further notice. I will only take bookings based in Newquay and close surrounding area.
Your hair needs to be freshly washed and dried prior to my arrival for all cutting and colouring appointments.
I will cut your hair dry or will ask you to wet it if it’s needed.
The colour will be applied after the hair is cut. Following the colour applications I will wait and let you know when the development time is up, then you will be instructed on how to wash your colour out. I will not be able to assist you and will not be brining my shampoo and conditioner so please make sure you have enough.
As a freelance hairstylist providing a close contact service I will:
I will be wearing a visor / face musk to each appointment as well as protective gloves, where possible,
I will carry with me hand sanitiser and will cleanse my hand frequently during the appointment.
All my tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitised before and after each client. I will also increase the sanitising routine and will carry with me appropriate products to ensure extra protection during the appointment,
I will be wearing clean working close/overall, which will be changed after each appointment,
To minimise the contact with your household surfaces, I will bring with me only the minimum tools/products to each appointment
To minimise handling cash I will accept bank transfers. I can provide my bank details on the day or in advance if you prefer.
I will not bring my diary with me. All the further appointment will be made via messages or over the phone.
In the case of me becoming unwell / developing any related symptoms or being contacted by NHS Test and Trace I will postpone all the appointments until its safe to resume again.
Due to the added cost of PPE there will be a small price increase on all my services.
Prior to your appointment and before entering your property I will be asking COVID-19 related screening questions, including:
Have you or anyone in your household had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
Do you or anyone in your household have a high temperature?
Have you or anyone in your household noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
Have you recently returned from the holiday and been advised to self-isolate?
Have you recently visited tier 2 or above are of the UK
If you or anyone in your household has any of these symptoms, however mild, you should inform me and reschedule your appointment.
If you had been contacted by NHS test and trace or you have a suspicion that you may have been in contact with anyone who may have any of this symptoms please reschedule your appointment!
It is very important that you are 100% honest with me as it’s not only my wellbeing at risk but also my family and all of my customers too.
Please make sure that you arrange an appropriate space in well-ventilated room for the appointment.
I will ask other members of the household not to enter the room during the appointment if possible (including children) . If anyone needs to enter the room, they will be required to wear a face mask.
You will be required to wear a face mask during you appointment. If you haven’t got one on my arrival, I can provide one. (Extra charge will apply).
I will provide you with the plastic cape for your appointment, however it is not long enough to cover your clothes completely. Please wear something that you don’t mind getting stained during colour service. Please note I will not take any responsibility for damage to your clothes.
I hope by following these government guidelines we can keep each other safe.
Please note, that I am following all currant government guidelines and I will not be held responsible for any cases of illness/life loss that may occur after my visit.
